Support the Marketing and Category management teams in finding the right insight based solutions to their business challenges for both consumers and food service operators.
-stay current with consumer and operator trends relevant to business strategies and provide appropriate/timely summaries to key stakeholders
-proactively access industry secondary information on an ongoing basis both locally and globally; develop strong working relationship with McCain Global Insights
-work with marketing and category team to understand information requirements and where necessary, ensure appropriate primary research is conducted or syndicated research acquired.
-prepare research briefs; brief suppliers and make recommendations to team; manage project execution; facilitate research debrief and ensure information is understood and used by team.
-lead internally conducted qualitative research including ethnography, focus groups (on site facility) etc
-Lead brainstorming/ideation sessions based on relevant market intelligence to help build the innovation pipeline
- Lead segment or customer specific initiatives to uncover insights that will help build winning sales propositions.
-provide fact based data to support customer and internal recommendations.
